Sponsor Spotlight

Welcome to another sponsor spotlight!
We adore our sponsors and know you will too!
These wonderful companies have either donated to our swag bags or one of our prize raffles!
Attendees, you are in for some awesome loot!
Becki is the rockabye mom in the grocery store sporting the just-rolled-out-of-bed look with a posh twist to make you think she did it on purpose. She’s the deconstructed darling who can take five minutes and turn it into fifteen. She wears stripes with polka dots and white after Labor Day. She’s married to The Boss, and what he says goes…unless she says otherwise (but don’t tell him). Their fun-sized counterparts are her inspiration and muse, the King (Kingston) and Lo Lo (London). She is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, but who isn’t? She’s short on time and long on love, so she needs her fashion to work for her. This idea gave birth to Whippy Cake, a brand encompassing more than just salivation inducing accessories. Whippy Cake is made to work for you. Vamp it up for date night, class it up for church the next morning, and simplify it for late night pajama clad ice cream runs every other night. Indulge.

We are two moms with 8 energetic kids between us.
While selling frames at a craft fair in 2011, we quickly realized what that, and most all handmade markets lack. It was our "ahha!" moment. There were TONS of cute little dresses, hairclips and other cutsey things...... but what we didnt see? Stuff for all those mommas coming through with their little fellas. And with 7 of our 8 kids being boys, we weren't quite sure why we hadn't thought of it before. And at that moment, while selling our frames, Bubba's Basics was born. Between customers and on the way home that day, we began brainstorming all of the things that little boys need. We are so excited to share our creations with you and your little Bubba. (And don't be surprised if you see a few girl things every now and again..... they are hard for us to resist too)

One thing Summer and I are continuously amazed with is the generosity of the people we have come in contact with while planning this conference.  It is crazy what we have been able to bring together in such a short amount of time. This would not be possible without our awesome sponsors, people who believe this is something worth attending, and our blogging community who have helped spread the word who don't even live in Southern California. Meet some of our sponsors and feel free to get familiar with them!

Get it before your neighbor does: We have limited supplies on some of the most swank supplies. We have agents out in the field who find killer deals on high quality products. We delicately slap prim-o pricing on crafting, clothing, baking supplies, home decor and other fabulous finds.  Stellar pricing.  Cool. We sell it 'til it's gone or 'til time is up. You leave feeling like you just won Martha in a crafting contest. The supplies arrive in 7-8 shipping days and you've just picked your 'plum'! Doesn't it feel good?

I blog because I want to share my life with others in hopes to inspire them. It's a joy for me to talk with others and to connect with their life experiences and to share mine. I created “A Little Piece of Me” in hopes to fulfill this passion of mine. My blog centers around my daily life, marriage, parenting, things that interest me, what I'm passionate about and basically just where my heart thoughts lead me.

If you were to ask me what makes me smile and my heart sing on a daily basis I would say wholeheartedly…
My family.
If you were to ask me what has changed my life in immeasurable, incomprehensible and amazing ways i would say my relationship with my Heavenly Father and the husband and children he has gifted me.
And so I blog. About my life, my loves, my dreams, my struggles, and my personal triumphs.
I blog WITHOUT excuse for who I am. Without shame for my imperfections.
I share what’s on my heart, my mind,
what’s burning in my soul.

Ashley from The Shine Project

I believe that all of us possess talents, skills, and abilities that can
be used to literally change the world.
I believe that stepping out of your comfort zone to do hard things
is what gives meaning and happiness to life.

This is what The Shine Project is all about:
Going out of your comfort zone
to bring light to those who need hope.
The Shine Project emulates love, sacrifice, and
CHANGE.
Trina Harris from Trina Harris Photography
Blog~Facebook~Pinterest
The thing that Trina loves about photography is there is always something to learn, always something to challenge you with. She has been stepping into different worlds of photography (food and fitness in particular) and it has been amazing! She just finished taking the pictures for this new cookbook!
There are a few things that most inspire her when it comes to photography. One, are the things and places that surround her. Just driving around she loves to imagine how or who she could photograph at this place or that. She's drawn to things more raw and unkempt. Getting to know people and interacting with them in a very personal way makes her want to do more of what she does.
Stephanie from Life Created
Blog~Facebook
My name is Stephanie...I am a mom, Marine wife...a crafter...an organizer...and lover of anything DIY! I love finding ways to craft with my kids, and exploring new ideas for making life more creative and organized. As an aspiring professional organizer, I am committed to helping my family and others spend less time looking for things and more time loving life. I recently quit my handmade wedding invitation "business" when I realized all of my time was being spent on creations for other people ....time to make my own.
Kristine from The Foley Fam

I'm a twenty something year old Momma who wanted to have a place aside from our 365 day blog, to share my creativity, pictures of our cute girls & mostly our extraordinary thoughts about our ordinary days. This is an extension of our family's blog. This is more of {our story}.
{loves} Jesus, Dr. Pepper, Playing with paper+glue+photos, Inspiring Others, Blogging, Dancing, Reality TV, her babies and especially her baby daddy!
Laura from Our Reflection

Laura is a passionate lifestyle photographer. She is, regrettably, a bit addicted to social media. She has a constant connection with Facebook and Twitter. She loves Starbucks, the colors pink and yellow, mountain biking, foot massages, the piano, her two amazing daughters and admirable husband.
Faith driven, always putting God first. Jesus has the steering wheel and we’re letting him guide our way.

Service Project {The Shine Project}

Photobucket
If you have read over our schedule, you know that we are doing a service project in the name of The Shine Project!
We are so excited to have had this chance to work with Ashley. She is really sweet and is incredibly inspirational.
I am in awe of what she has been able to accomplish so far and can't wait to see where this project takes her!
We will be assembling kits for schools in Arizona and California.
These kits will hold all the fun school supplies sweet children need once they start:
pens, pencils, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, markers, erasers, highlighters and pencil boxes.
Every dollar makes a huge difference!
Summer and I are huge "stretchers" and love finding deals.
We plan on getting as much as we can for how much we raise.
100% of your donation will go straight to supplies.

Click here and under the ticket option, you will see the donation option.
Please help spread the word so we can make this an awesome part of our day!
Thank you!

Speaker Spotlight-Becki {Whippy Cake}

Indulge.
One of the reasons I push myself so much is the purpose behind Whippy Cake. I see so many people stressed out about family, work, or whatever life has thrown their way. I see too many people with their blinders on who only think about themselves or who look for happiness by putting themselves first. Well, I believe Whippy Cake can help the stressed mother, wife, sister or whoever out a little by brightening up their day. I believe Whippy Cake can inspire women everywhere to focus outwardly and serve and love others to find true happiness. I hear you asking now "How do you do this by selling accessories?" Good question. Here's my philosophy: when you look good then you feel good then you will do good. At least I hope so! I think that it is hard to help others when you don't feel good about yourself. So, if adding a cute Glamour Band to your daily ensemble can give you the confidence to help those around you, then that's good enough for me!
She's so darling! I've heard she's absolutely hilarious and can't wait to meet her!

Sponsor Spotlight: Plaid Crafts, Yeung Mother Hubbard, Jenny's Fabric & Brag About It Jewelry

We just wanted to make sure everyone knows that there are only 9 tickets left to Elevate, so if you are procrastinating...I wouldn't wait much longer.  This is sure to be a "can't miss" event and if you are late to the purchase party you might be out of luck.  This is also the last week to get tickets at the early registration discount so save yourself ten bucks and get 'er done!  If you are coming from out of town or just wanting to do a stay-cation, be sure to book before May 11th.  After that date the rooms on hold will be released friends.

Now that the business is out of the way let's get to know some more amazing sponsors shall we?!

The ultra awesome Plaid Crafts has generously donated Apple Barrel paint for our craft project and we couldn't be more excited!  Plaid Enterprises, Inc., is one of the world's largest, most diverse manufacturers of creative do-it-yourself products. Their product innovation and dedication to the ever-changing needs of consumers have made the Plaid family of products among the most recognized and desired brands worldwide.  Us crafters pretty much owe them our first born children considering they created Mod Podge

We are so incredibly blessed to have Nichole from Yeung Mother Hubbard as part of our Elevate team as the Sponsorship Coordinator and Organization Extraordinaire.  She seriously rocks our socks and keeps Jen and I on track.  Not only has she donated countless hours behind the scenes already and will continue to do so even on the day of  Elevate, but in her spare time {insert laughter here} she is sewing business card holders for each of the attendees!  What better way to keep track of all those business cards of your new conference friends than to keep them cozy in Yeung Mother Hubbard original?!  We love you Nichole and couldn't live without you!  Did I mention that she threw the most beautiful wedding?!  Seriously, gorg...you have to check it out!

We know most of you probably shop at Joann's for your fabric, but wanted to introduce you to our favorite local fabric store: Jenny's Fabric.  Sometimes I'll browse through Joann's selection if I am there for craft supplies, but I always end up at Jenny's.  The staff is so friendly, knows me by names, makes special orders for me and their selection and prices are unbeatable.  I could just browse for hours!  They are located in Fountain Valley and have a sister store called M & L in Anaheim that is even bigger!  Jenny is so sweet and has donated fabric for each and every one of you in attendance!  If you are coming from out of the area, it would be well worth your time to stop by Jenny's before the conference, it's just down the street!

Melissa from Brag About It jewelry has got to be one of the sweetest girls we know.  Here creations are so innovative and well made and you lucky ladies who are coming are all are going home with a necklace that Melissa has custom made for Elevate.  We have seen the pictures and trust me, this one is going to be in your weekly jewelry rotation.  It's beautiful.  Don't be sad if you aren't able to make it to the conference, you can get a Brag About It creation of your very own from Melissa's Etsy shop.  Pssst: if you like Brag About It on Facebook, you may see a 15% off coupon code on there!  Now hurry over and get yourself one of these cute bracelets or one of the unique necklaces!
